What You Will Do:
- Participate in client discovery and advisory workshops to provide guidance on data architecture, business processes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and overall analytics and process intelligence solution design
- Apply strong business curiosity to understand client processes, business models, KPIs, and decision-making workflows before designing solutions
- Design, build, and maintain analytical data models to support BI, analytics, process mining, and AI use cases
- Support the build and evolution of data environments and analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and related technologies)
- Develop Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards aligned to business, operational, and process performance requirements
- Write and maintain advanced SQL transformations to extract, transform, and prepare data for analytics, reporting, and process mining
- Ingest, transform, and model data from multiple source systems into analytics-ready and process-mining-ready structures
- Define and implement KPIs, metrics, and analytical frameworks based on business and operational requirements
- Document data models, transformations, and analytics logic for client handoff, maintainability, and enablement
- Support successful deployment of analytics and process intelligence solutions through development, testing, validation, and post-deployment support
- Continuously engage clients in an advisory capacity to refine requirements, challenge assumptions, and evolve analytical and process insights beyond initial delivery
- Assist in establishing analytics engineering, BI, and process analytics standards and best practices
- Support advanced analytics, process mining, and AI-ready datasets, including feature engineering for ML and predictive use cases when applicable
- Help clients drive measurable business outcomes and ROI by translating analytical and process insights into actionable recommendations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute analytics and process intelligence workstreams to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and strong client satisfaction
What You Will Bring:
Expert-level SQL
- Advanced and complex SQL (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning, multi-join transformations)
- Ability to design and optimise large analytical transformations
Strong Data Modelling
- Dimensional modelling, star schema, fact/dimension tables
- Analytical and semantic data modelling for BI and analytics
Data Engineering Foundations
- Building analytical data pipelines, transformation layers, curated datasets
- Experience working with data warehouses / lakehouses
Power BI
- Data modelling, DAX, semantic models, performance optimisation, dashboard design
Microsoft Fabric
- Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, Semantic Models
Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to translate business problems into data and analytical solutions
Relational Databases & Analytics Platforms
- Deep understanding of how analytical data platforms work
KPI & Metrics Design
- Ability to define, design, and implement business and operational KPIs
Strong business curiosity and critical thinking
- Proactively asks questions to deeply understand business concepts, processes, and true requirements before building solutions
