Regional VP - Nordics
Location: Stockholm
Reporting to: Group CEO
This is Career Defining Role
The Nordics is one of Europe’s most digitally mature markets: ambitious enterprises, high trust in technology, strong operating discipline and serious appetite for AI that improves real business performance. It is also a market that does not buy hype easily. Nordic clients expect credibility, proof, partnership and value.
Roboyo AI already has the foundation: deep automation capability, delivery hubs, global IP, and partnerships across UiPath, Microsoft, Appian, Celonis, Mendix and other enterprise platforms. The opportunity now is to build the Nordics into a reference market for AI and Agentic Automation - moving clients from pilots and point automations into multi-year programs that rewire work. We are scaling our partnership with leading AI platforms, such as Anthropic, OpenAI, N8N to name a few…
This is not a maintenance role. It is a build role: own the region, create the market, land lighthouse clients, shape the partner ecosystem, and build the team that makes Roboyo AI the go-to pure-play AI and automation transformation partner across the Nordics.
Your mission
- Own and grow the Nordics P&L: revenue, gross margin, utilization, EBITDA and long-term value creation.
- Create and convert demand: build qualified pipeline, hunt new logos and expand strategic accounts into multi-year transformation programs.
- Sell the next generation of Roboyo AI services: agentic pods, forward-deployed AI engineering squads, AI use-case backlog acceleration, data and knowledge foundations, and run/scale managed services.
- Turn partnerships into a GTM engine: particularly UiPath and Microsoft, alongside Appian, Celonis, Mendix and other strategic platforms.
- Build a high-quality Nordic team: sales, consulting, solution architecture, engineering and delivery leadership, supported by global delivery hubs.
- Make Roboyo AI visible in the market: senior client relationships, ecosystem events, partner roundtables, thought leadership and board-level conversations.
What you will own
-
Nordic market strategy and P&L
- Operate as the business owner for the Nordics: full accountability for revenue, gross margin, SG&A discipline, EBITDA and quality of growth.
- Define a practical market plan across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland - with clear account priorities, vertical plays, partner motions and hiring needs.
- Focus on Nordic enterprise buyers in financial services, insurance, telco, energy, industrials, retail, life sciences, public sector and digitally ambitious mid-market companies.
- Build a disciplined operating rhythm: pipeline coverage, deal reviews, forecast accuracy, utilization, delivery health, NPS/referenceability and margin control.
- Shape a portfolio mix that deliberately moves from legacy automation and staff augmentation towards higher-value AI transformation, agentic automation and managed services.
- Acts as Managing Director of the Nordic legal entity, with full governance, compliance and statutory responsibilities.
-
Hunting, enterprise GTM and account growth
- Be the lead commercial force in the region - not only a manager of sellers, but a visible senior hunter who opens doors and shapes executive conversations.
- Personally lead new-logo pursuits and lighthouse accounts, from first conversation through discovery, value case, proposal, negotiation and close.
- Create repeatable land-and-expand offers: 6-8 week AI/process opportunity sprints, agentic workflow prototypes with clear value gates, and 12-month transformation roadmaps.
- Move clients beyond isolated automations into use-case backlog programs that continuously identify, prioritize, build, run and improve AI-enabled workflows.
- Work with global Roboyo AI leaders to bring the best of our IP, accelerators and delivery capabilities into Nordic pursuits.
-
Partner-led GTM and ecosystem development
- Own and professionalize the Nordics partner motion with UiPath, Microsoft, Appian, Celonis, Mendix and selected AI/data ecosystem partners.
- Create joint account plans, co-sell motions, partner-sourced campaigns and executive-level events that produce qualified pipeline - not just awareness.
- Position Roboyo AI as the partner that makes AI real in workflows: process-first, production-minded, governed and measured against business outcomes.
- Build a broader ecosystem of hyperscalers, boutiques, consultancies, industry communities and senior advisors who can amplify Roboyo AI’s market access.
- Maintain independence and commercial discipline: partnerships should accelerate Roboyo AI’s services growth, not reduce us to a low-margin implementation arm.
-
Agentic transformation propositions
- Translate Roboyo AI’s global AI and agentic capabilities into propositions that land in the Nordic market: clear problems, clear value, clear path to production.
- Commercialize forward-deployed AI engineering squads and agentic pods embedded with clients to attack workflow and process use-case backlogs.
- Help clients build the foundations that make agents useful and safe: process intelligence, data readiness, knowledge fabrics, RAG, orchestration, security, auditability and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Challenge hype constructively: not every process needs an agent, and not every AI idea deserves funding. Your role is to guide clients towards what will actually work.
-
Delivery leadership and operating excellence
- Lead and grow the Nordic onshore capability across consulting, solution architecture, engineering, project delivery and client success.
- Work with global and offshore delivery hubs to create the right delivery mix without compromising client trust, quality, governance or margin.
- Ensure strategic engagements are delivered with executive visibility, strong commercials, clear outcomes, and referenceable quality.
- Build the local operating model for AI transformation squads: backlog management, value tracking, risk controls, change management and run/scale handover.
-
Leadership,cultureand talent
- Be the cultural anchor for Roboyo AI in the Nordics: high trust, high standards, low ego, clear accountability and strong collaboration with global teams.
- Recruit, mentor and retain a senior bench of sales, consulting, presales, architecture and delivery leaders.
- Lead the reskilling journey from RPA and workflow automation into AI engineering, agentic orchestration, data-led transformation and managed AI operations.
- Represent the region internally with candour and ownership: push for what the market needs, but take responsibility for local execution.
What you bring
You are likely to have built your career in a mix of tier-one consulting / technology services and a more entrepreneurial automation, AI, data or digital transformation environment. You understand the standards of a major firm, but you have the appetite to build something faster, sharper and more specialist.
Must-have experience
- 10+ years in technology-enabled consulting, professional services, enterprise automation, data/AI transformation or adjacent digital services.
- 5+ years owning or strongly co-owning a country, region, practice, portfolio or commercial number - with exposure to revenue, margin, utilization, hiring and delivery performance.
- Proven hunter credentials: you have personally led or materially shaped multi-hundred-thousand to multi-million-euro services deals in the Nordic market.
- Strong network with Nordic CIOs, CDOs, COOs, Heads of Transformation, Heads of Automation, Digital, Data or Operations in one or more priority sectors.
- Grounding in Intelligent Automation, workflow, BPM, process mining, low-code, IDP or enterprise orchestration - with credible recent exposure to GenAI, LLMs or agentic AI.
- Experience building or scaling a practice or market: account planning, partner GTM, pipeline generation, hiring, team leadership and delivery governance.
- Commercial fluency: pricing, rate cards, utilization, gross margin, deal structure, risk, scope control, outcome-based components and managed services economics.
- Fluent English. A Nordic language, especially Swedish, is strongly advantageous.
Ideal background
- Big 4, IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, NTT, Sopra Steria, Tietoevry, Valcon, Implement, BCG Platinion, or another strong Nordic consulting / technology services environment.
- Then moved closer to specialist automation, AI, data, SaaS, platform or transformation services where you had to build pipeline, sharpen propositions and lead teams hands-on.
- Comfortable selling to both business and technology buyers - not only CIOs, but also COOs, CFOs, operations leaders and transformation sponsors.
Agentic AI and technical fluency
You do not need to be hands-on keyboard, but you must be credible in the room. You should be able to discuss:
- How LLMs, RAG, vector databases, tool-calling and orchestration enable agentic workflows.
- How AI agents interact with enterprise systems, data, documents, rules, people and controls.
- How to structure multi-agent systems around end-to-end processes such as onboarding, claims, KYC, case management, finance operations, procurement, service management or field operations.
- How to make AI safe enough for enterprise use: permissions, audit trails, data boundaries, human approvals, monitoring, model/vendor risk and controlled change.
- Where AI is not the answer - and how to keep clients focused on value rather than novelty.
Leadership traits
- Hunter-operator: you combine personal commercial intensity with the discipline to run a services business properly.
- Market maker: you can create demand where the category is still forming and help clients understand what is possible.
- Executive presence: you can sell the vision at board level and then translate it into a practical delivery plan.
- Builder mindset: you get energy from blank-sheet problems, underdeveloped markets and teams that need direction.
- Change leader: you can move teams from classic automation into Applied AI without creating fear, cynicism or chaos.
- Commercial backbone: you protect margin, scope and quality even when growth pressure is high.
- Low-ego collaborator: you work globally, borrow what works, and make the wider Roboyo AI platform stronger.
