This is a multifaceted role. You support clients in optimizing processes and contribute to the further development of Bright Cape’s Data Science and Consultancy competency.

- You guide and support projects for key clients.
- You maintain relationships at the senior management level and serve as a valued sparring partner.
- You participate in seminars and conferences, either as a speaker or an attendee.
- You develop standards, methodologies, and governance processes, including taking ownership of the entire model lifecycle—from development to monitoring and ongoing evolution.

You have
- Proven experience with the full machine learning lifecycle and MLOps practices such as experiment tracking, model registration, CI/CD, version control, and automated pipelines.
- Experience developing, validating, deploying, and monitoring machine learning and language models in production environments. Experience integrating existing AI solutions is a plus.
- A degree in Data Science, (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering & Management, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Approximately 6 years of experience in process improvement using AI and Machine Learning.
- Experience developing AI strategies and AI roadmaps for clients.
- Experience with commercial processes, sales support, and consultancy is a plus.
You can
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and language models, from concept to production.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and agile implementation plans.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Python, SQL, and/or PySpark.
- Implement and manage solutions using Azure services, Databricks, APIs, and Docker. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power Pla
