Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a partner to those responsible for business processes, products and users, understanding in detail the original requirements and needs.
- Map and design As Is processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing To Be processes.
- Collaborate with the IT team in evaluating the technological environment , considering its capabilities and limitations.
- Translate business requirements into clear and objective user stories.
- Define acceptance criteria for validating user stories.
- Develop, together with those responsible for the processes and business users, positive and negative test cases and scenarios .
- Participate in project planning , schedule definition , daily meetings and other necessary rituals .
- Support business users and IT staff in validating the developed solutions .
- Prepare and present reports and monitoring materials for projects and activities.
- Proactively communicate developments, roadblocks, and risks identified throughout the project.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in the Insurance and/or Reinsurance sector , with understanding of the main operations and business flows.
- Experience in requirements gathering and analysis , translating business needs into clear product visions and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of the processes and organizational structure of companies in the sector, understanding their interdependencies and operational impacts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to evaluate complex scenarios and make decisions based on data and sound judgment .
- Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and ability to model business processes using this notation – a desirable advantage.
- Experience in process mapping and analysis , including detailed documentation, bottleneck and risk identification.
- Ability to propose improvements and optimizations , seeking efficiency, standardization and better user experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration , working in an integrated manner with multidisciplinary teams and business areas.
- Focus on results and continuous improvement , with a mindset oriented towards delivering value and process evolution.
