AI Automation ArchitectAs part of Bright Cape's Data Science department, we are rapidly expanding our AI Transformation proposition and are looking to strengthen our senior team!
You'll start by mapping the client's available data and core processes. You'll then quickly identify feasible AI automation opportunities and determine the long-term steps needed for structural data maturity. You'll develop and implement AI solutions yourself, automate workflows, and help define BI and data warehouse needs.

Your role:
- Increasing data maturity at customers through the strategic use of (Generative) AI and process automation;
- Analyzing data landscapes and core processes to identify both quick automation opportunities ('quick wins') and long-term improvement paths;
- Hands-on design and implementation of AI-driven automation solutions directly in the customer's business processes';
- Functioning as Product Owner/knowledge carrier for internal Bright Cape teams (Data Analysis, Engineering, HDI) for larger follow-up projects;
- Defining BI and Data Warehousing needs as part of the broader data strategy.
You are:
- A strategic and hands-on architect with strong analytical, communication and entrepreneurial skills, focused on delivering concrete value.
You have:
- A master's degree in a relevant technical or quantitative field (e.g. AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics);
- At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in data, AI and/or (process) automation;
- Excellent Python skills and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries/frameworks;
- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern data stack components (such as Databricks/Fabric);
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
