As part of Bright Cape's Data Science department, we are growing rapidly on our AI Transformation proposition, and we are looking to strengthen our senior team!
You start by mapping the client's available data and core processes. Next, you identify quickly realizable AI automation opportunities and determine the long-term steps required for structural data maturity. You develop and implement AI solutions yourself, automate workflows, and help clarify BI and data warehouse needs.

Your role:
- Increasing data maturity at clients through the strategic deployment of (Generative) AI and process automation;
- Analyzing data landscapes and core processes to identify both quick automation opportunities ('quick wins') and long-term improvement trajectories;
- Hands-on design and implementation of AI-driven automation solutions directly in the customer's business processes;
- Function as Product Owner/knowledge holder towards internal Bright Cape teams (Data Analysis, Engineering, HDI) for larger follow-up projects;
- Defining BI and Data Warehousing needs as part of the broader data strategy.
You are:
- A strategic and hands-on architect with strong analytical, communication, and entrepreneurial skills, focused on delivering concrete value.
You have:
- A Master's degree in a relevant technical or quantitative field (e.g. AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics);
- At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in data, AI, and/or (process) automation;
- Excellent Python skills and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries/frameworks;
- Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern data stack components (such as Databricks/Fabric);
- SQL proficiency for data analysis and manipulation;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
